When I took these pictures, it was like I was looking at an angel walking on the lake. When light and water come together, it is peaceful and calm. They create a moment when I feel “real.” I feel free.Robert L.
I love going to the zoo to see the animals. I take lots of pictures at the zoo, because I want to capture them being their animal-selves. I’m also fascinated by the way snow cloaks and frames and outlines everyday objects and big monuments.Marie H.
I love to travel and sightsee. On this trip, I took the Metra train to Springfield where I went to a rally for people with disabilities. It was great because I met a lot of other people with and without disabilities. I think it’s important to stand up for your rights.Sandra W.
This opportunity has been such a blessing that I am considering photography as a career.Vernon E.
I love taking pictures in Chicago because I love the town.Ralph C.
Bucket List I have spent quite a bit of time with the After Supper Visions project. And I have had my share of success. I have watched the photography of some of the other participants. And I have learned quite a bit. While I try to challenge myself every year with my photographs, there have been many photographs what were always left “untaken.” Missed opportunities? No, not really. June, 2015, join me, as I start my visit to my photographic bucket list!!! I HOPE YOU ENJOY!Ray B.
I’ve also always been fascinated by old fashioned sepia pictures. They also suggest otherworldliness. Would you think I took this picture in 2014?Dionte N.
Even in a sprawling major city you can find spots that are beautiful, tranquil and lush. You can leave all the hard edges of the streets and escape to a softer place, stare at the sky and the greenery, take a breather and let your imagination flow.Reggie H.
This is my first year with ASV. I’m really drawn to nature. I love the mix of colors and shapes, heights and textures, the light that accentuates the colors and the sunlight behind the trees was so gorgeous it was magical. I just keep watching and watching. When I walked up to this statue that just appeared in front of me, it was like he was sitting there just waiting for me to come.Sheri H.
I like the show. It gives me something to do when I’m not in the hospital with my C.O.P.D. I enjoy it!Roberta J.
