After Supper Visions
Mark your calendars for this perfect winter evening event: The Hinsdale Public Library will host a special reception for After Supper Visions on Thursday, February 15th, from 6-8PM. The Hinsdale Library is located at 20 East Maple Street in Hinsdale. Escape the cold and enjoy a warm and inviting gathering where some of the latest ASV artwork will be on display. Meet several ASV artists and hear their stories of how they have each discovered and developed their talents in the field of photography. This will be one inspirational event! Lamont B.Bike photo: I wanted a straight photo with a diagonal feel to it. I thought it was cool to take a photo like this. I tried to grasp a photo that no one else takes – a unique perspective. I like my photos to be an art piece hung in someone’s living room or office space.
Anthony B.I wanted to take pictures of the Cubs celebration because this is the first time they won since 1908. Who knows when they will do it again. Hopefully the Cubs will win in 200, too!

Marnee K.As I walked off the escalator at Harold Washington Library and caught sight of all those extraordinary dog tags, I thought of all the lives sacrificed. That in itself was enough to inspire me. The dog tags tell stories of men and women, some who lost lives and some MIA. My words cannot express how I felt when I took these photos. I can only say that my heart goes out to all those courageous men and women whom they represent.
