15th Annual ASV Photo Season Has Begun

Preparations for the 15th Annual ASV Photo Exhibition are officially underway! At a recent Tuesday afternoon class, Photo Team members Ellen Gorney, Jody O’Connor and Linda Roxe discussed photography basics with some of the artists who have signed on to participate this year. Some are returning artists, and some are joining for the very first time. Tips in these classes about photography subjects, lighting and use of creativity are a great help to the artists as they prepare to take their cameras out into the world, to capture special moments on film. Over the Fall and Winter, the artists will take their photos, then work with the Photo Team to choose which images they want to include in the photo exhibition next June. With Chicago’s world-class architecture and gorgeous natural settings, the possibilities are endless for beautiful, imaginative artwork to be created.
