After Supper Visions
It is hard to believe that, in its 12th year, ASV artists have captured unique and powerful images of Chicago that have never been seen before. But it is true. This year, the sixty-one artists participating in this year’s ASV Photo Exhibition have stretched themselves to fantastic new levels of creativity and professional growth in the art of photography.
Sometimes the photos are sensational in their utter simplicity. Other times they are stark reminders of the majesty of Chicago’s architectural masterpieces, its signature lakefront and expansive natural settings. Of the sixty-one artists, 48 are Returning Artists and 13 are New Artists, who have also embraced the project and taken artistic risks enthusiastically.
