After Supper Visions
Catholic Charities and the After Supper Visions Photo Team are deeply grateful to ZipCar, Inc. for the generous donation of $1000, the proceeds from the recent “Feeding Local Art” campaign. Special thanks go to Marketing Manager Tony Paske who created and coordinated this innovative campaign from start to finish. The impressive results are as follows:
– Chicago artist Czr Prz created a fabulous, multi-colored work of art called Mccollam on one automobile, and his fellow artist George Berlin created a separate, distinct work of art called Isthmus, also using the blank canvas of an automobile.
– From November 22nd through January 6th, the two Art Cars were made available to Zipcar members in Chicago, one car in Wicker Park and the other in Lakeview.
-As Zipcar members reserved these autos, donations were tallied for ASV. More than 100 different members made 184 reservations. A total of 3,844 miles were driven across five different states, generating 350,000 visual impressions of the cars.
ASV is proud to have been partners with Zipcar, the Chicago Loop Alliance, Mr. Prz, Mr. Berlin and all of the Zipcar members who joined in Feeding Local Art through this groundbreaking, inspiring promotion. Thank you again!
