Committee Members of the Chi-Town Jazz Festival joined volunteers and regular guests of the Tuesday Night Supper on August 16th to make a very special presentation. While guests enjoyed dinner on this warm evening, Committee Member Eileen Lerum, who also is a member of the Catholic Charities Board of Advisors presented a check totaling over $11,000 to Monsignor Michael Boland, President, CEO and Administrator of Catholic Charities, and to Reverend Wayne Watts, Associate Administrator in support of Catholic Charities’ ongoing efforts to fight hunger. Jazz Musician Fr. John Moulder heads the Chi-Town Jazz Festival and the event kicked off earlier this year by performing for the Tuesday Night guests. This Tuesday, the guests responded with resounding applause to Lerum’s presentation. Catholic Charities is one of a number of charities receiving funds from the festival.
